May 31, 2023 · One Uhtred historical inaccuracy in The Last Kingdom is the era of the series. The Last Kingdom is set in ninth-century England when Alfred the Great ruled Wessex and eventually became King of the Anglo-Saxons. On the show, King Alfred is, of course, based on Alfred the Great, therefore the show's era is accurate to his character. Every episode is crafted with incredible acting from various cast members. Especially David Davson's portrayal of Alfred, The great. And, uhtred's character arc is amazing. Alot, of great cast, with excellent dialogue Delivery. Most of the time, you can connect with the characters, with an emotional response.The fact that Bebbanburg is his birthright is the reason. Coccham was great but it was given to him as a reward for his service, which isn't the same thing in Uhtred's mind. If you like Vikings you should totally check out The Last Kingdom, both are amazing shows. Walking Dead is a pretty good show, if you ignore everything past season 1, maybe 2. but I agree, TLK is great if you like vikings. Its on the top 10 most watched Netflix series.
